This fit my exslim Z600 with room to spare. I can assume it will fit any slim style camera. With my camera in the pouch, The pouch had about 2 inches of extra room of height and about 3/4 of an inch of extra room in the thickness of the pouch. The width was perfect, it did not have to be smashed into the case and it did not slide from side to side. this is what I was looking for. If you are searching for a case that only holds the camera and no accessories this one is not for you. I used the extra room in the pouch to hold 3 extra SD cards which I purchased a slim SD card case from Ziotek that hold 3 cards just search Ziotek sd card case and you will find it. and an extra battery with room to spare. In the extra pouch I had ample room for cash and credit-cards and my keys (3 keys). I was able to get rid of my "fanny pack" because this pouch fit every thing. The velcro covered extra pouch gave me easy access to the cash and keys and the camera storage section is zippered. The Velcro outer pouch can hold my flip video camera instead of the cash and keys. This case surpassed my expectations in every way!

This is a big case. If you are buying this just for the flip it may be to large for you. This is not one of those slim cases

Did not know what to expect before receiving my padded case for my Flip Slide unit. The case was as advertised with these additional feaures. A loop on the side that holds my tripod. Works great. The smaller pocket on the front of the case is also used - I put my power adapter into that one. What I really like is that all of the components I need for video recording are all together in one unit. When traveling having all the parts together assures one of not forgetting one of the components.

I was searching for a suitable enclosure to provide me with a Firewire interface. I chose this because it looked to be decent plus someone commented on the great build quality (even saying it compares favorably to the standards which Apple follows. I was disappointed with the quality of the case. It feels cheap and the feet are plastic which you screw on and then affix some rubber sticker. The issue is that the plastic feet become loose and you can't screw them back in. The disk took a fair amount of effort to slide into the enclosure as well. I do appreciate that the company ships all supported data cable types though. The build quality was nowhere near to Apple's standards so disregard anyone who says so.

The Macally G-S350SUAB2 that I am currently using is my second one from Amazon. My first enclosure was giving off sparks every time I plugged the power cable in, Amazon quickly sent me a replacement which has been working perfectly.

I mainly use this enclosure along with my Western Digital 1.5 TB Caviar Green SATA Intellipower 64 MB Cache Bulk/OEM Desktop Hard Drive WD15EARS to store my movies and TV shows. I'm using this enclosure via Firewire 800 with my 27 inch iMac and the transfer rates are great. I bought the Caviar Green because it is meant as a back up drive and I don't need the extra 1800 rpms of the Blue and Black version, as the highest bandwidth bus I can use is firewire 800. The highest bus this enclosure has is eSATA, but officially only the Mac Pro and 17 inch Macbook Pro have the ability to use eSATA (through PCIe and expresscard/34 expansion cards, respectively). Unofficially, the 2010 27 inch iMac can use eSATA through a mod, but that may very likely invalidate Apple's warranty.

The body of the enclosure is made of aluminum, so this enclosure looks awesome next to any Apple computer. The aluminum helps keep the hard drive at operating temperature through conduction, the same manner as how the iMac's aluminum unibody works. The Caviar Green is designed produce minimal heat from operation, the case is slightly warm to the touch when I am playing files from the drive. The enclosure does not dissipate sound very well, as I can hear the clanking of the hard drive pretty well. This of course depends on how loud your hard drive is, but I believe Western Digitals have one of the quieter hard drives. In my experience Seagate drives are one of the loudest.

Installation was a breeze, the least tech savvy person can install a drive into the enclosure. Though most people who go for the enclosure route are usually pretty tech savvy, as the majority of consumers purchase pre-built external drives. The one little issue I did have with installation was the LED power cable, it runs from the front of the drive bay to the back circuit board. Along this route it passes over one of the screw holes for the hard drive attachment, make sure you push it out of the way completely otherwise it will block the screw hole slightly or entirely. You don't want it to block the hole even in the slightest, as you may strip the cable when you put the screw in.

The back plate is made of plastic, which doesn't make too much of a difference as no one really sees it. It doesn't look like plastic from far away, unless you get closer and/or hold it. There are a few options for propping the enclosure up after you put the hard drive in: you can either use the provided feet and/or base stand, lay it on its side, or keep it up with out the added support. I wouldn't recommend the last option because the front and back legs are curve, making it very easy for this enclosure to tip over if you hit the desk. That would be pretty bad for the hard drive if it is turned on when it topples over, you could cause damage to the HD's platters. So I would at least recommend putting on the two feet Macally gives you.

The feet screw onto the two bottom legs each has its only rubber pad you can put under the feet so the enclosure does not slip around, which it easily does without the rubber padding. The screws that keep the feet on are in the middle, so the rubber padding will cover the screw holes, which means you either have to keep the feet on permanently or remove the pads if you want to take the feet off. I don't think the adhesive is going to last if you remove the pads too many times. The solution I came up with is using a hole puncher to cut a hole out of the middle of the pads which gives me access to the screws without removing the pads. I also found that you can remove the feet with the pads on by simply turing the feet until they come off, it won't scratch the legs, but when you try to put it back the feet may not be on tight when the feet are perpendicular to the legs. This is why I cut a hole in the pads before I placed them on.

Macally provides you with all the cables for the four different transfer ports, there are 5 ports though (Mini USB-A, eSATA, Firewire 800 x2, and Firewire 400). You are only given one firewire 800 cable, as the second firewire 800 port is used if you want to daisy chain (sequentially hook up multiple firewire 800 devices) more drives. Usually people have another firewire 800 from the second device, hence why you are only given one. The cables are adequate, but the firewire 800 cable is not as nice as the one I got from Western Digital.

I think the price is fair for this enclosure, you get four different transfer ports. I've looked at other enclosures with quad interfaces and they have similar price points. Buying a pre-built external drive with firewire 800/400 and USB 2.0 will cost you roughly the same as this enclosure plus a 60 dollar hard drive, such as the Western Digital My Book Studio 1 TB USB 2.0/FireWire 800/400, Desktop External Hard Drive. The advantages of this enclosure is that you get firewire 800 and eSATA, two of the fastest bus on an external enclosure, and you get to choose your own HD. We're not taking USB 3.0 into consideration because most drives or enclosures with USB 3.0 do not provide other bus types. It's usually only one USB 3.0 port that has backwards compatibility with USB 2.0.

I believe it works exceedingly well for its design and intended purpose, five stars. Plus it never fails when buying directly from Amazon, they have a great return policy.

Let me begin by giving you a brief background on why I switched to this enclosure.

I used to run an Acomodata USB 3.5 inch enclosure earlier with my 2TB Hitachi SATA hard drive. Ran it for over an year. This was almost noise free, running cool temperature-wise even with no built in fan. It had a problem though. It would just hang dead when trying to transfer a large chunk of Data (Usually greater than 2/3GB) or burning a whole DVD. It would also hang on a dead red while synchronizing my iPod. I knew it was the enclosure because the hard drive worked well with enclosures from work.

Enter Mcally UAB2. One other reason I switched to this drive is because all laptops I have are Macbook with Firewire 800. This is a pricey but nice looking enclosure. Fully aluminium except the lid at the back which is plastic. Installation was smooth and all worked first try. No problem with 2TB drives or transferring large chunks of data. Works well both with PC and Mac. Firewire 800 is blazing fast. Here are some of the things you may want to know.

- It is noisey. The full aluminium housing amplifies the noise.
- It gets really warm. Has no built-in fan.
- It will run only one port at a time. Meaning you cant connect a mac and a pc to it. It just stops the HDD.
- As I mentioned earlier, the enclosure costs as much as a 750GB hard drive.

So, I am ok with it. Not really jumping in joy.

We've used Enfamil as a supplement for both of my daughters. Our first had serious acid reflux and this was the only formula that would stay down (most of the time). My only complaint about this packaging is the resealable bag inside. It makes the job very messy and the powder gets all over your hand, especially when you get to the bottom. We just dump it in the tub and life is good.

Enfamil is the brand my son drinks and it's been great. However this new packaging is annoying to use. I thought it would be like Similac's new packaging (with the plastic container) but Enfamil has a bag inside to keep the formula fresh. Normally when I scoop out the formula, I like to shake it off to make the scoop even out. It's really difficult to shake out the formula from the bag and I have to shove my hand in the bag to get to the formula (especially when it's getting low), then my hand gets powder all over it. I haven't dumped the formula directly in the container because I want it to stay fresh, so scooping out formula is now a messier task. It takes a little longer too (when I have a screaming baby, I don't want scooping out formula to slow me down). The only plus side is that there's a little plastic grab thing inside the lid that holds the scooper so you don't have to leave it in the powder.

I agree with everyone else that the packaging is a pain in the neck and dump it into a 3-cup sized tupperware container--unlike the container provided, I'm confident the seal will hold (even if accidentally dropped!) and can put the sticker from the refill bag with lot info, etc, right on the lid. And trying to find the "eco-smart" refills on the shelf is a pain in the neck--they are never in stock and are even 4-5 weeks backordered on Amazon!

My biggest complaint is that in addition to the packaging, they changed *something* with the formula. Probably just fillers, but it's still a pain in the neck. I have to dissolve the powdered formula in breastmilk to give my daughter higher calories, and this new stuff just doesn't dissolve well and I end up with little "pearls" or clumps of formula throughout. If I'm doing straight formula, I can shake *really* well and let the bubbles disperse before feeding, but you can't vigorously shake breastmilk.

Unfortunately, my daughter prefers the enfamil taste, so I can't switch to similac or others.

Purchased bag for use with Canon S3, and it is just about "perfect" for that usage.
Have Lensmate adapter mounted to S3, and combination sits nicely (lens down) in center of bag, cushioned by 2 flexible dividers.
A folding lens hood and filter box fit outside/beneath the "right" divider, and an UltraPod II sits behind the "left" divider (head down / legs up - this extends above back of camera, but below zipper height).
Keep the original lens cap & a cleaning cloth inside the zippered compartment beneath the top, and store the S3-to-USB cable in the small pouch on the outside of the top flap (either could also hold a limited number of SMALL items).
The zippered compartment on front of the bag is odd-shaped (curved at tops & sides) but works OK: there are 2 pouches for media (SD cards in this case), with red flaps to separate used from unused, plus a slip pocket that holds 8 AA batteries. You can also sit smallish items in front of these pockets - a Razor cell phone fits easily, but my Axim (in a RhinoSkin case) BARELY allows the zipper to close.

Nits (not sufficient to result in a "4" - but wish there was an option for "4.5!"): 1) Inner compartment is not "see-through"; 2) although the main compartment zipper is nicely covered by the top - providing some weather seal - the lower half is not buffered from the camera compartment; 3) would Really have liked a "back pocket" - as it is, there is no place to carry the camera manual (if using interior dividers, as currently am). And, finally, 4) although the shoulder strap is sturdy enough, it has only a THIN piece of Non-slip material sewn in, instead of a nice Padded rest. OTOH, walked around Grand Canyon and Monument Valley for several days without pain, and was impressed with overall utility - and protection - provided by the bag.

PS: This bag would probably fit a smaller SLR OK, but our Pentax K10D is too tall: the 5510 is too narrow fore-and-aft to hold the K10D easily - and also too narrow side-to-side to hold a 2nd lens even if you did jam in the camera body (with one lens attached). Also, this much weight Might make the lack of padding on the shoulder strap more of an issue.

I have a Canon 30D. I don't have multiple lens and just wanted to carry my camera with maybe a few accessories like an extra memory stick or lens wipe.

This is perfect. There is plenty of padding inside so I feel the camera is protected well and also small enough for me to carry around everywhere.

You can either zip it closed when you are done using, or clip close so you can be prepared to take out the camera anytime.

I'm pleased for the price. They have these on display at Circuit City. I found mine there, but I bought it from Amazon to save a few dollars.

If you have a digital camera with SLR features, like me, then the concern is getting a bag big enough to fit with large zoom lenses. I have an Olympus with 24x zoom and am too cheap to buy a more expensive bag. Buying online, you really take a chance with these things. I looked around a lot and found this little bag. Just perfect for storing my camera, extra batteries, perhaps a charger (but my camera takes regular AA's), the media cord, and a little more. Great value for the price. The strap is adjustable for your preferences and the overall weight is light. I am very happy I found this.

Of course, if you are a true camera junkie/buff like my mom with all your SLR's, this bag will most likely fit your camera and one lens if you pad the lens... for you guys like this, this would be the "I'm just going out for the recreational shoot" times you need a light bag and don't want to carry all your stuff! Yeah, my mom has got all the set-ups and carries large totes on her shoots. This is not the bag for those big jobs.

But, for us amateurs that need a nice little bag for our "baby" SLR's, this gets the job done.
