Never have I written a review out of hundreds of Amazon product purchases. However, I just had to review this gem.
Now don't get me wrong, it's a little pricey comparably speaking. However now that I have it in hand, I am quite happy with it. I did lots of research and everything was hit and miss. Some people loved them and some people had bad luck. I couldn't be happier with mine. Installation was a breeze. Seems to hold the ipad very securely. Time will tell, but even if I have to buy a new one every summer, I'll still be pleased with it. Can't expect things to last forever with kids.
I personally have a 2011 Nissan Armada and it works great in there. Just far enough away that my son can't touch it, but if an adult were sitting there, they could easily utilize the touchscreen.
I highly recommend this product!

This is really on me for not checking my headrest before ordering and isn't necessarily a design knock against the product, but when I went to install this mount it required the removal of the headrest. I couldn't get the headrest to come out, so I checked the owners manual for my vehicle and found that it is "not designed to be removed." So I was unable to use this product and had to return it. Don't make the same mistake. Make sure you can remove your headrest BEFORE you order! For the record, I drive a 2011 Chevy Avalanche.
