I just got this thing and it is better than I expected. For starters mine came fully charged which I love so that already puts me in a good mood. Second its so tiny its ridiculous. But the best part (third) is that its so loud! Especially if you expand the bass thin; the base expansion thing i believe its called. When you expand it the songs get even louder and if the song has a lot of bass it even causes the speaker to shake and move a little. I played a song with a lot of bass on my table and it nearly fell off. It's really great, I have tried it outside while doing things and it was crystal clear.

(I should really preface what I say next by saying that I really hope I received a defective unit) After purchasing the Rock-it 2.0 I thought that it would be fun to check out some of the other products that Origaudio make. Naturally I gravitated towards the volcano since I have listened to other speakers that were very similar. I ordered it off amazon and I'm glad I didn't pay full price. The painfully obvious problem with this speaker is that it loves to distort towards the higher tones/notes. At first I thought that the volume on my phone was to loud but after trying different levels it continued to distort, even when it was quiet. So then I thought maybe it's a simple issue of adjusting the EQ, nope that wasn't it either because it still continued to distort after several hours of trying to fine tune the EQ. Then I resigned myself to settle for the distortion. Most people reading the reviews on Amazon are expecting to get great sound quality from the Volcano, don't. If you want great sound quality go buy Bang & Olufsen. Origaudio makes cool gadgets that are fun to show to your friends, and that's why I bought the volcano. However, at the end of the day I didn't even bother showing them the Volcano

I bought two of these and wow am I impressed! These are amazing little speakers, they weigh about an ounce a piece and put out ridiculous amounts of sound! The cool thing about these little guys is that you can plug them into each other and keep piggybacking speakers. I have a friend that uses 16 all hooked together in his home theatre! great speakers, I would recommend to anyone!
